Biography

Prior to starting Gill Law Firm, Mr. Gill defended physicians, nurses and healthcare institutions to obtain in-depth experience on how the defense strategizes and manages complex litigation.

Mr. Gill took his first case from filing of complaint to a jury verdict in thirteen months. The jury awarded his client $3.4M. He successfully appealed the court's granting of Defendant's motion for summary judgment on punitive damages resulting in dual, independent punitive claims against the employee and directly against a large publicly traded company for reckless management.

Mr. Gill's second verdict was a $3.8M Top Ten verdict in conservative Coconino County in Flagstaff, Arizona. This was a slip and fall case, and the jury awarded the specific dollar amount compensation Mr. Gill proposed.

Consistent with his dedication to his client's wishes, Mr. Gill has turned down seven-figure settlement offers to take cases to trial. The client makes the decision. Mr. Gill enjoys litigation and trials. He only takes cases he is willing to take to trial.

Mr. Gill is highly complimented on a unique feature of his practice. All potential clients are provided an extensive evaluation. There is value knowing what happened even if a legal claim does not fit within Arizona conservative legal framework.

Mr. Gill earned his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 2001. Mr. Gill was licensed to practice law in the State of Arizona in October 2001. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Arizona State University in 1998. Mr. Gill also served in the Military Intelligence Corps., U.S. Army from 1991 to 1996. Mr. Gill served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable E.G. Noyes at the Arizona Court of Appeals.

Mr. Gill is a three-time Ironman Finisher, nine-time Marathon finisher and has competed in many 70.3/Half Ironman races, Olympic and Sprint Distances. He is the Founder, Coach and Director of the Verrado Youth Triathlon, 14 years and the White Tanks Heritage Run. He has coached youth triathletes and cross county and is a firm believer that the challenges of sport both prepare for and help one cope with the other challenges in life.
